Assembly Instructions Take a moment to check the contents of the game. Next think about what side of the table the dealer would be on, and what end the dice would be thrown from (usually the end you brake from on the pool table) 1. Locate the dealer side on the felt (top center) center and smooth out the felt on the table. (figure #1) 2. Position the 5 inch barrier around the table. (Save and store the 5 inch clamps in the box to use at a later time) 3. Center the ends in the middle of the dealer side. (figure #2) Optional Backstop For Craps To install the optional backstop you will take one end (the end that the dice bank off of) and straighten it out. Start the bottom corner of the backstop radius into the top half of the barrier radius. (figure #3) By pushing and pulling, the backstop will slide together. Both the barriers and the back stop should be straight. (figure #4) Center the backstop between pockets or corners. Take the end of the barrier back to the dealer position and slide bottom radius together one inside the other, and push it in 6 inches. (figure #5) Raise the top lip of the barrier up and over each other. (figure #6) If there is a bulge in the center of the overlap, massage the bulge from center to top and bottom of the barrier. Fine Tunning the Barrier If the sides are lying over the barrier it is to long. If the barrier is not tight up against the ends of the table, it is way to short. You will need to find a happy medium. To make longer or shorter do not fight the barrier, simply roll the outer radius over the inter radius at the top of the splice then push or pull the bottom half in or out. Then roll the top back over each other. Fine tunning the barrier and centering the backstop will make a big difference to the over all look of the game. (figure #7) The game kit is also designed to be used on smaller tables, such as ping-pong, folding, kitchen tables or any flat surface. Use the 5 inch packing clamps, and overlap the barrier. But DO NOT splice together, simply use the 5 inch clamps. The barriers will be side by side. (figure #8) Packing Up the Game 1. When finished undo the barrier and remove the backstop. 2. Place the 5 inch clamps in the middle of the table. 3. Roll up the barrier (do not raise it up off the table just roll it up in it’s playing position. Do not kink it roll it up. Once rolled up, put the 5 inch clamps on both ends. Flatten the tops with the palm of your hand. (figure #9) 4. Place rake in the box from corner to corner 5. Next place the rolled up barrier in the box. 6. Now the back stop goes in (the short side goes up meaning the top remains the top. (figure #10) 7. Finish packing the rest of the kit. |
